School Meals

Please note that Universal free school meals in KS1 are not included as Free School meals.

 Cooked Dinners

School meals cost £3.16 per day and are to be paid for daily, with any outstanding balances cleared by the end of the week.  Payment is to be made via School Money, our online payment system.  Should you have any problems accessing this system, please do not hesitate to contact the school office who will be happy to help.

School meals are healthy and balanced, cooked on the premises by our wonderful kitchen team.  We strongly encourage all children to enjoy hot school meals, however children may bring a packed lunch if they wish. If your child is bringing a packed lunch from home, provide healthy options such as fruit and vegetables and ensure that no sweets or fizzy drinks are included. Filtered, chilled water is available for all children at lunchtime.

Please be aware that we are a NUT FREE school.  Children must not bring any items into school which contain nuts, this includes Nutella and peanut butter as sandwich fillings.

Milk

We offer milk to all Foundation Stage and KS1 children - Children must be registered with Coolmilk to enjoy this. Please speak to the school office if you would like more information on how to sign up for this scheme.

Water

Drinking plenty of water is important for learning, so we encourage you to send a non-spill bottle of plain water (not juice, flavoured water or squash) to school for your child to drink during lessons.

Snacks And The Fruit & Vegetable Scheme

The only snacks allowed in school are fruit and vegetables. All Foundation Stage and KS1 children are offered a free piece of fruit or vegetable each day.

Children may also bring fruit/vegetables from home. It is essential that you inform us of any allergies your child may have so that we can avoid giving anything that may be harmful to them.
